Spitball

The initial idea was to build a surfboard with lots of drive and fast off the bottom, which would suit the beach breaks I often surf at home.

The first Spitball prototype was actually a quad fin set up and it was a fair bit wider on the tail and on the nose. I quickly realized that the quad set up was not really going to suit my personal needs in a beach break, so I started working on a way to adjust and adapt this design to a much faster and unpredictable wave scenario.

Coming from the high performance shortboard background definitely helped me to turn this board into a Thruster. Listening to my own needs is crucial in every model I build. I guess this is why the Spitball design represents everything that I am crazy about on a surfboard. It features a high-performance curve very well hidden due to its template. The round nose curve also forgives all my mistakes and gives me that extra push we all need to catch waves.

This model definitely draws some beautiful lines along with some of the best trims a surfboard can generate. It does not matter if you surf every day or not; this board will make you feel you did not skip a day of surfing in the last month.

If I had to pick one board to travel around the world, this would probably be it.

All models require a deposit of 50% of the total amount when you place an order, by the time the order comes in and the deposit is confirmed we let you know how long it will take to build your surfboard.
